To introduce myself in a few lines, I would see myself more as an "explorer" of matter, in the broadest sense of the word, matter that can take on all sorts of forms, and that brings together many factors such as the body, time, space and above all the energy that lies hidden beneath appearances, at the heart of matter. Drawing, painting, clays, concrete, paper, latex, branches... are the means that help me to understand the forces that circulate in the universe, but also to approach the essential question "who am I" in all this. After my secondary education and my revealed interest in artistic disciplines, teaching drawing presented itself as a conceivable path. It was during this training that I had a decisive encounter that would shape my whole life. It was Françoise Bizette, an exceptional artist and teacher, who "taught" - or rather, "trained" - future creators, thanks to her personal knowledge of the mechanisms of creativity, art history and the ceramic arts. Through her contact and the discovery of the plasticity of clay and its multiple possibilities of expression, my path became clearer and I continued to explore the world of ceramics for many years.
