Description

Vase in ox-blood red enamelled sandstone, signed under the Dalpayrat base and stamped with pomegranate.

The vase's surface is covered with a glazed glaze, giving it a smooth, glossy texture. The glaze is skilfully applied, creating nuances and tonal variations that add depth and subtlety to the work. Shimmering reflections and plays of light unfold on the vase's surface, giving it a precious appearance.

The vase also features decorative elements characteristic of Art Nouveau. Organic motifs inspired by nature, such as leaves, flowers or stems, are finely sculpted and integrated into the vase's surface. These motifs are stylized, evoking the vitality and blossoming of nature, while maintaining a harmonious, balanced aesthetic.

Adrien Dalpayrat's red-glazed stoneware vase is the perfect embodiment of the Art Nouveau aesthetic. Its shape, color and motifs testify to the exceptional artistic talent of its creator. It's an eye-catching piece that fits perfectly into the world of art nouveau, yet is a unique expression of Dalpayrat's creativity and innovation.
