Description

Important baluster-shaped vase with bulging belly and flared neck in new paste porcelain with gray green celadon enameled relief decoration depicting a flight of swallows. The background has darker crosses and white crosses enhanced with gold. Emile Decoeur for the shape and Marcel Prunier for the decor. Signed under the base of the stamp "Sèvres" accompanied by the date, the circular stamp "Decorated in Sèvres" with the letter "e" for 1945 as well as the mentions "Decor M.Prunier 60-45, form "Decoeur" 5/25 and dated indented. Copy N°5 of a limited edition of 25.
