Large amphora vase in blue, green and brown glazed stoneware with two handles, decorations of branches of flowering roses signed Lucien Arnaud in Saint Amand in Puisaye - France Lucien Arnaud, an industrialist, took over from Cartier in the former Pichard pottery at the Faubourg des Poteries in St Amand, owned by Clément Maubrou. In 1920 he founded the society of Flamed Stoneware and Ceramics of St Amand (Nièvre).He produces decorative pottery and patterned subjects. Several molders are hired there. In July 1921, the activity was transferred route de Cosne in the pottery of Jean Normand (collaborator of Carriès). The old surviving oven, between the road of Moreaux and that of Verreaux, disappeared during the war 39/45.
