In 1950, Sant Vicens was visited by the artist Jean Lurçat (1892 - 1966), who has contributed since the 30s to renovate the art of tapestry. He is seduced by the quality of the pottery know-how and stays there several times a year. From then on, he will entrust the workshop with the exclusive realization of his ceramics and murals including the entrance of the cellar and the west facade of Sant Vicens but also, the impressive mural that adorns the facade of the auditorium of the Maison de la Radio in Strasbourg (the largest ceramic mural in Europe).
